I can only imagine how much fun it is for Patty and her staff to watch these players play. As a coach, nothing is more satisfying than to sit on a bucket, call a game and watch your team play well. They have earned everything they have accomplished.
That statement is absolutely on point. Especially in light of the several setbacks this team had against top 25 competition at the beginning of the season. I know I thought it might be a rough season with the youth we have. I certainly wasn’t thinking we’d be within 1-game of a natty back in March. This may be one of the finest coaching jobs Gasso has done in her long, storied career here (so far).

You could certainly add a few ifs for us and it would have been a shutout. A team that has won 31 straight in any sport deserves respect. Hell we beat them and still showed respect and class. It’s not hard.

Yeah, I just read the Auburn coach’s comments at ESecSPin. What an arrogant ass. Referred to Paige as our “one” pitcher. That his girl’s had her figured out in the final inning of tonight’s game. Maybe so but she’s taken on the SEC’s best during the playoff and is undefeated in her last 26 games. How sweet it would be if our girls have figured out their pitcher and we bomb the hell out of them. Maybe then ESecSPin will give our girl’s the respect they deserve, but I doubt it.
