The Path to Norman
Hayden Bray played high school football in enemy country: Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. However, Bray grew up a Sooner fan. While in high school, he won two state championships. He had offers to several programs, but decided to join the Sooners as a preferred walk-on shortly before the 2021 signing day.

Highlights
This Season
The Sooners will see a lot of change on the defensive front after losing guys like Isaiah Thomas, Perrion Winfrey, and Nik Bonitto to the 2022 NFL Draft. However, there is still a host of talent from 2021, along with several new faces. Guys like Jalen Redmond and Jeffery Johnson appear set to headline the defensive tackle spots, where Bray is likely to work. He will have the opportunity to keep working and push for playing time in 2022.
