The Path to Norman
D.J. Graham, out of Keller Central High School in Texas, began his journey to OU a long time before his signing day. He attended an Elite camp in the summer of 2018, when he received his offer.

After that, things were relatively quiet until a commitment the following spring. Graham had an offer sheet that included Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and LSU – an impressive resume.

Career so Far
Graham didn’t play in the first few games of 2020, but quickly started seeing the field. The corner played in the final eight games of the season, even starting in the Cotton Bowl. Coach Grinch rotated through several corners, but Graham was one of the frequent players and looked extremely promising.
In 2021, Graham became a staple at corner. He played in all games but one (injury), starting in 10. He ranked fifth amongst DBs in tackles on the season, first among those who played primarily at corner. Graham also made one the best interceptions many had ever seen during his sophomore campaign.
2022 was a transition season for Graham. He played in nine total games; six were at corner, including one as a starter. Then, he moved to wide receiver for the remainder of the season, playing only on special teams from then on.

Highlights
This Season
Graham has completed his transition to wide receiver and has worked there over the offseason. There will be plenty of competition in the receiver room, with a host of talented players pushing for time. Although this will be his first full collegiate season at receiver, Graham has three seasons of experience. He could use 2023 as a redshirt season or look to make himself a regular on offense this year.
