The Path to Norman
D.J. Graham, out of Keller Central High School in Texas, began his journey to OU a long time before his signing day. He attended an Elite camp in the summer of 2018, when he received his offer.

After that, things were relatively quiet until a commitment the following spring. Graham had an offer sheet that included Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and LSU – an impressive resume.

Career so Far
Graham didn’t play in the first few games of 2020, but quickly started seeing the field. The corner played in the final eight games of the season, even starting in the Cotton Bowl. Coach Grinch rotated through several corners, but Graham was one of the frequent players and looked extremely promising.

This Season
With Tre Norwood and Tre Brown departing to the NFL, there’s a gap at the corner spot. After a true freshman season that saw Graham get plenty of experience, this looks like the season for him to take over starting duties. Despite missing some time in spring practice, Graham and Woodi Washington look set to start at corner, with several talented underclassmen working hard for playing time. Look for a big season from the talented corner in 2021.
