The Path to Norman
Mike Woods took a long time to arrive in Norman. Woods came out of high school in Magnolia, Texas as a 3 star recruit. He played for Arkansas for the first part of his career, starting in 29 games over the past three seasons and routinely finishing as one of the Razorbacks’ top receivers. This past offseason, Woods decided to finish his collegiate career as a Sooner.

Highlights
This Season
Woods was brought to Norman to play, and play he will. OU’s receiver group did not live up to Coach Riley’s expectations in 2020, leaving room for growth in 2021. A group including Theo Wease, Mike Woods, Jadon Haselwood, and Mario Williams are expected to be the leading outside receivers. With plenty of college football experience, Sooner fans won’t have to wait long to see Woods make an impact in Norman.
