The Path to Norman
Swenson was committed to Michigan for three years before having his scholarship offer pulled. Shortly after that, and just before the 2016 signing day, Swenson chose the Sooners.

2018 Season
This year will be a big chance for Swenson to earn significant field time. Bobby Evans and Dru Samia look to have the two Tackle positions locked down; after them, guys like Adrian Ealy and Erik will try to be the next two up at Tackle. Additionally, Swenson will not just be fighting for playing time this year; with at least Samia and possibly Evans departing after 2018, there will be openings on the line. Erik Swenson will look to continue showing the coaches that he’s the right guy for the job when the time comes.
