The Path to Norman
Marcus Alexander, a Sunnyvale, Texas product, started seeing offers during his junior season. Texas-based programs comprised most of his offers at first. May 2018, he received an OU offer and took a visit to campus.

After that, it wasn’t long before the Sooners won his commitment over programs like Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Missouri.

Highlights
This Season
The starting offensive line has a lot of pieces seemingly settled; Chris Murray is back to start at right guard, with newcomer McKade Mettauer likely to start at left guard. Behind them, Alexander could very well be the next man up. Others including Brey Walker and Kyle Ergenbright will bring competition for snaps. However, Alexander is in a great position to earn significant minutes coming off the bench at guard this season and be well placed to potentially start in 2023.
