The Path to Norman

Latrell McCutchin, a highly-ranked recruit out of Austin, Texas, started out as an Alabama commit with offers from LSU, Ohio State, Texas, Georgia, and many more. Coach Riley didn’t like that and pursued the talented corner. Following a visit to Norman, Coach flashed the Eyes on Twitter and McCutchin decommitted from Bama almost in sync. It took a few more months for Sooner fans to get the good news, but fireworks came in the summer.

Jaden Davis, Joshua Eaton, Justin Harrington, and McCutchin are all pushing for snaps. McCutchin may be too talented to keep off the field; look for him to line up at corner in 2021.
