The Path to Norman
Jacob Lacey, a Kentucky high school football product, was a highly-ranked defensive line product in the 2019 class. He joined Notre Dame to start his college football career. After four years with the Irish, Lacey entered the transfer portal in the fall of 2022. After a little less than two months in the portal, Lacey announced he’d be joining the Sooners.

Career so Far
Lacey spent four seasons at Notre Dame, playing in 37 total games. He had perhaps his most impactful season in his freshman year, but continued to play regularly. In his time with the Irish, Lacey had a knack for creating pressure.
