The Path to Norman
Arthur McGinnis and OU were in contact for much of McGinnis’ recruiting timeline. Coach Tim Kish tried to make a Sooner of “Hulk” for quite some time. That came to fruition when McGinnis committed to OU just before National Signing Day of 2015.

Career So Far
Despite being a guy that Sooner fans were thrilled to have join the team, Hulk hasn’t seen the field much in three years on campus. 2015 was a redshirt season, he didn’t play in 2016, and only played in one game in 2017.

It’s hard to know what McGinnis’ season will look like. He was recruited as a linebacker, moved to defensive end, and now defensive tackle. Hopefully 2018 will be a season for the Louisiana native to make a jump and earn some solid playing time.
