Dane Saltarelli played at a place familiar to Sooner fans; IMG Academy in Florida. He was at the school when defensive back Bookie was playing as well. In February of 2018, he announced his intention to play for the University of Oklahoma.

Career So Far
Saltarelli took a redshirt season in 2018. In 2019, he played in one game in a supporting role.

2020 Season
The halfback is a flexible position in OU’s offense; it’s also a position with a lot of talent and experience right now. Returning starters Jeremiah Hall and Brayden Willis will continue to man the spot, with freshman Michael Henderson an option as well. Saltarelli will be at a crowded position in 2020 looking to battle for more playing time.
