Stephen Johnson joined the Sooners in the spring of 2018. A walk-on, Johnson transferred to Oklahoma from Bill College in Texas.

2019 Season

TFB reported this spring that redshirt freshman Gabe Bkic is expected to take over kicking (field goals, extra points, and kickoffs), while sophomore Reeves Mundschau is looking to start at punter. However, with the departure of Austin Seibert, the kicking game at Oklahoma is wide open. This is a great opportunity for a new face, like Stephen, to step in and show he can take over one of the special teams jobs.
