Asa Colbert played high school football in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Victory Christian School. Jon-Michael Terry graduated from the same school several years ago. Colbert lined up at a mixture of linebacker and defensive back in high school. As a member of the 2019 class, he didn’t see the options he had hoped for. Instead, he opted to walk on with the Sooners to continue his football journey.

2020 Season
Coming in as a freshman, Colbert will probably take a redshirt season. However, his film shows an extremely aggressive player who just keeps on working. Hopefully that aggressiveness turns into playing time for the Oklahoma native down the road.
