The Path to Norman
Zach Schmit played high school football just up the road from Norman at Bishop McGuinness. He was a 5* Kohl;s kicker and top five in the 2020 class. The kicker decided to join the Sooners to wrap up that class.

Schmit took a redshirt season in 2020, but saw action in two games. He kicked off once in each of those two games.
