The Path to Norman

PJ Adebawore was a top 20 recruit in the 2022 class. An edge prospect from Kansas City, Adebawore had offers from many top programs in the country, including Georgia, LSU, Oregon, and USC. Edge Coach Miguel Chavis had only been in Norman a short time, but managed to win the commitment of the elite prospect in the summer of 2022.

Adebawore will be one of the freshmen Sooner fans watch most closely this fall. With his length and athleticism, he brings an exciting element to the defensive end spot. The group will be lead by returning players R Mason Thomas and Ethan Downs, along with incoming transfer Rondell Bothroyd. However, it seems like it won’t take long for Adebawore to earn snaps given his skillset. OU fans are excited to see what PJ Adebawore can do in Norman.
