Highlights
This Season
With the departure of Eric Gray, the Sooners are looking for players to step up at running back; Jovantae Barnes and Gavin Sawchuk are likely to be the first and second options to fill that role. After them, several players will be pushing for carries, with Walker seemingly the front runner. Walker had a nice offseason, getting a lot of reps with Barnes missing time. In his second year on campus, Walker looks ready for increased time in the Sooners’ backfield.
