This Season
The cornerback room has one locked down starter in Woodi Washington. After that, nobody in the OU corners room has started a game. There are several players with lots of potential and excitement, however; Gentry Williams, Jayden Rowe, Kendal Kolby, and Walker are all among a group pushing for snaps. For now, Williams seems most likely to start opposite Washington. Walker will certainly have a shot at snaps though; TFB’s practice observations from this morning (link below) noted how different Walker looked as an athlete and that he looked like a very smart player. In year two with the Sooners, Walker could become a regular rotation player at corner.
