The Path to Norman

Jaden Knowles played high school football down in Kennedale, Texas as a running back. After his time there, he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

After a few years there, he decided to join the Sooners as a walk-on.

Knowles took a redshirt season in 2020 and did not play.

Highlights

This Season

Knowles earned snaps in the spring game this year and looked good doing so, scoring a touchdown running the ball and hauling in a handful of catches. While it’s hard to garner too much from spring games, he certainly looked like he has a role on the field for OU. The running back room looks dramatically different this year than it did in 2020, with Eric Gray and Kennedy Brooks expected to be the headliners. Hopefully, “Weatherman J” can earn some game time in 2021.
