Samuel Omosigho was a very highly-rated prospect out of Texas. He received his OU offer shortly before the staffing change at Oklahoma. Other schools like Michigan, Washington, USC, and Florida all offered the linebacker as well. However, Coach Venables and company pushed hard and won the commitment of the coveted player.

Although he certainly could end up at inside linebacker, Omosigho seems built to be a CHEETAH in this defense. Justin Harrington and new transfer Dasan McCullough will be the leaders at the CHEETAH spot. This year, Omosigho will likely redshirt as he looks forward to being a big part of the defense in the future.
