The Path to Norman
Kendall Dennis, out of Lakeland, Florida, was part of the 2020 class. He had offers from Florida, Miami, Florida State, and Georgia by the summer of 2019; all of those programs had proximity as an advantage. Then, in a quick series of events, Dennis was offered by the Sooners and made an official visit in November. Shortly after that, Kendall was a signing day announcement for OU.

Career so Far
Dennis was banged up in 2020 and took a redshirt season without playing. He did not see any playing time in 2021.
Highlights
This Season
Dennis’ name was one of the most frequently mentioned throughout the offseason; his athletic ability and development were both noted as being huge assets. Cornerback has a bunch of players with solid chances to start this year. With the growth he’s reportedly seen and the natural ability he has, plus a new defensive staff on campus, expect Dennis to be a consistent player by the end of the year and a big piece of the future of the OU secondary.
