Elijah Thomas was a member of the 2025 recruiting class. The top 150 player came to OU out of Checotah, Oklahoma. He had offers from many big-name programs, such as Alabama, Texas A&M, and more. Coach Emmett Jones locked down his commitment in the summer of 2023, a year and a half before Thomas’ signing day.
First and for most i’d like to thank God because without him i wouldn’t be where i’m at today and my parents for providing for me all my life, but with that being said i have committed to the university of Oklahoma!! @CoachVenables @CoachEmmett @OU_Football pic.twitter.com/EbH9qszYE4

Highlights
This Season
The OU receiver room will be led by the returning Isaiah Sategna, with transfers Parker Livingstone and Trell Harris starting alongside him. However, Thomas has been making noise and see a lot of reps this offseason, particularly with Harris banged up. It may or may not be as a starter, but expect to see Thomas playing a much larger role with the offense this year and be in the two-deep at receiver.
