The Path to Norman
Heath Ozaeta is an offensive lineman from the 2023 OU recruiting class. He played high school football in Washington. Ozaeta visited Norman multiple times during the 2022 summer; in early June, he picked up his OU offer. A week later, the big man committed to Oklahoma.

Career so Far
In his first year on campus, Ozaeta took four snaps in the Arkansas State game and took a redshirt season.
2024 was a big step up for the lineman. He played in 12 games at left guard, earning eight starts.

This Season
Ozaeta has missed time this spring with a labrum injury. He will be battling Eddy Pierre-Louis for the starting left guard role this fall. Ozaeta has a year of experience under his belt, but will have to work through his injury rehab in order to win the job.
