The Path to Norman

Michael Fasusi was an elite offensive lineman prospect in the 2025 class. Ranked by 247 as OU’s third-best recruit all time, Fasusi played high school football in Texas. The Longhorns and A&M were OU’s main competitors for the lineman, although he held offers from essentially every big program in the country. In the end, Coach Bedenbaugh would not be denied and landed his guy.

Highlights

This Season

Fasusi has been mentioned frequently throughout the offseason as a player making the most of his time. He has worked at left tackle this spring and looks likely to be part of the rotation. Logan Howland and Jacob Sexton are battling at left tackle and have experience over Fasusi. However, Fasusi was a five-start for a reason and this spring’s chatter has supported that; look for him to be a part of the rotation in year one.
