The Path to Norman

An Edge player out of Minnesota, Wyatt Gilmore was a priority for the Sooners in the 2024 recruiting class. He was offered by OU in February, 2023 and visited a month later. The visit made a big impression, as did a return visit for the ChampU BBQ that summer. Gilmore’s top five included OU, Minnesota, Miami, Oregon, and Kansas State. Within weeks of his return summer visit, Gilmore narrowed it down to just one.

Career so Far

Gilmore took a redshirt season in 2024 while seeing snaps in the season opener. He was named to the SEC Fall Academic and SEC First-Year Academic honor rolls.

This Season
