The Path to Norman
Liam Evans is a local recruit, having played high school football in Moore, Oklahoma. The kicker didn’t start playing football until halfway through his eighth grade year. After that, he became a starting kicker for Moore by his sophomore year and began to receive a lot of attention. He was ranked 8th in the country in the 2024 class of Kohl’s kickers. Evans visited Baylor, Kansas State, Texas Tech, and others, but Coach Jay Nunez and the Sooners won his commitment as a PWO.
