The Path to Norman
Marcus James was a Oklahoma high school product, playing at Carl Albert in OKC. He was a versatile recruit, with experience at receiver, running back, linebacker, and more. The Sooners were one of James’ first offers, although he received offers from A&M, TCU, Utah, and more. In late fall 2023, James and his teammate Trynae Washington made a double announcement to join OU.
