The Path to Norman
The Sooners were Manny Choice’s very first offer back in the spring of 2023. A receiver out of Texas, he circled the Sooners for over a year, with Texas A&M, USC, Ole Miss, and more battling for the young man. His relationship with Coach Jones proved a big factor, as Choice committed to OU during a visit in the summer of 2024.

This Season
Choice has had several positive reports throughout the offseason. As a true freshman, he is the third-tallest and second-biggest receiver on OU’s roster. There are a lot of options at receiver, but it’s a room looking for a turnaround after an abysmal 2024. If Choice can stand out, he’ll get his chances as early as this fall.
