The Path to Norman
Heath Ozaeta is an offensive lineman from the 2023 OU recruiting class. He played high school football in Washington. Ozaeta visited Norman multiple times during the 2022 summer; in early June, he picked up his OU offer. A week later, the big man committed to Oklahoma.
100% committed to @OU_Football‼️ Happy Birthday Mom @mozaeta! So grateful for my teammates & coaches through the years and for my family whose unconditional love and support helped me get here! Thank you to @CoachVenables @OU_CoachB @Coach_Leb for believing in me! #BoomerSooner pic.twitter.com/cGtJIC481U

Highlights
This Season
The OU offensive line will have plenty of changes this fall. Ozaeta has worked inside for the most part, but has been mentioned as a lineman the staff may factor in at tackle as well. 2024 will likely be another year of providing depth for Ozaeta, with plenty of years remaining for increased playing time.
