The Path to Norman

Josh Aisosa played high school football in Edmond, Oklahoma, less than an hour from Norman. The offensive lineman played tackle in high school with potential in the interior for college ball. He began his contact with OU in the spring of his junior year of high school. The summer before his senior year, he received his Oklahoma offer. Just a month later, he committed to the Sooners.

Aisosa has worked at center this spring after playing tackle in high school, and could also play guard for the Sooners. Transfer Branson Hickman is expected to start at center, with a battle still ongoing for guard. Aisosa may redshirt this fall, with opportunities for more playing time in the future.
