The Path to Norman
Michael Tarquin comes to Norman with a wealth of experience in college football. The big man originally signed with Florida back in the 2019 class. He was there for four seasons, playing in 34 games. Following the 2022 season, Tarquin made a stop at USC. In his one season there, he played in another 11 games, most of which were starts at right tackle. After the 2023 year at USC, Tarquin transferred to Oklahoma.
Career so Far
Tarquin’s first season at Florida was a redshirt year, while still playing in three games. He played in ten games in a short 2020 season.
2021 saw a jump in playing time for the offensive lineman. Tarquin played in 12 games on an offense that ranked highly in many national offensive ratings. He was also named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in both 2020 and 2021.
In 2022, Tarquin played in nine games and made starts. Throughout his time at Florida, he played across the line, seeing starts at both left tackle and left guard.
Tarquin’s lone season with the Trojans saw him play in 11 games, eight of which were starts, while seeing playing time at right tackle.

This Season
Tarquin transferred to OU to play and nothing seems to be dispelling that notion so far. He brings a lot of experience all over the line, something Coach Bedenbaugh always utilizes. While there’s still lots of time until game one for the line to continue taking shape, Tarquin has a very good shot to start at left tackle this fall.
