The Path to Norman

Cale Fugate came to Norman after a prolific senior season with Bixby HS. He had an incredible game in the playoffs with four touchdowns and four interceptions in a big win. Fugate was originally set to go to Air Force; then the Sooners offered him a preferred walk-on spot. After that, Fugate decided to stay in Oklahoma.

Fugate took a redshirt season in 2023 without seeing snaps.
