The Path to Norman

Michael Boganowski started picking up offers during his junior year of high school. The athletic prospect out of Junction City, Kansas started with regional offers from KSU, KU, and Nebraska. Plenty of nationwide teams started calling soon, with Washington, Michigan, Tennessee, and USC all throwing in their hats. Oklahoma recruited Boganowski as a safety/ cheetah prospect and was very high on his positional flexibility. OU and KSU seemed to the last two teams standing, but the Sooners won his commit in the fall of 2023.

OU’s safety room, with Billy Bowman, Robert Spears-Jennings, and Peyton Bowen leading the way, is in an exciting place. Boganowski won’t be a starter this fall, but he is a prospect with the tools to start contributing in year one on campus.
