The Path to Norman

Emeka Megwa was a highly-ranked member of the 2021 class. He was offered by many top programs, including Notre Dame, Alabama, and OU. However, Megwa went to Washington to start his college career. After one season, he transferred to Norman.

Career so Far

Unfortunately, Megwa has had quite the injury bug in his short collegiate career. He had ACL surgery and missed the entire 2023 spring and most of the 2023 season. Megwa did see action in the 2023 TCU game.

This Season

Megwa’s college football career has been a particularly difficult one. He has participated in some practice during the offseason, hoping to see action this fall. The biggest priority is ensuring Megwa’s full health; if he can reach that point, he may be able to carve out a role in the OU offense.
