The Path to Norman
Kendel Dolby started his college football journey in Oklahoma, but not at OU. Dolby went to NEO (Miami, OK) for two seasons; after the 2022 campaign, Dolby entered the portal. He received offers from Oklahoma State, Washington, Arkansas, and more, but chose the Sooners as his destination.

Career so Far
Dolby played with NEO for two seasons, seeing time in 16 games. In 2022, he was named the Southwest Junior College Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year
In his first season with the Sooners, Dolby played in all 13 games. He started three games at Cheetah, filling the void left by Justin Harrington’s injury, and earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12.

This Season
Dolby is expected to start this year at the Cheetah spot. He has taken a lot of snaps with Dasan McCullough banged up. Sam Omosigho will provide depth at the spot as well, but Dolby looks ready to be a much larger part of the defense this fall.
