The Path to Norman
Jackson Arnold is one of the highest-rated recruits to ever sign with the Sooners. A consensus five-star quarterback out of Texas, Arnold was courted by Coach Lebby at Ole Miss. On day one with the Sooners, Coach Lebby offered Arnold a spot with OU. A little over a month later, Arnold committed to Oklahoma over offers from Alabama, LSU, Penn State, and many more.

Career so Far
Arnold was backup to Dillon Gabriel in 2023. He saw action in seven games, including one start in the Alamo Bowl. It was a relatively quiet freshman season, mostly seeing time at the very end of games, but Arnold was able to show off both his arm strength and ability to make a play with his feet.

Highlights
This Season
It’s officially Jackson Arnold time. At all schools, and Oklahoma more than most given its history of elite QBs, the quarterback spot has all the attention and plenty of pressure, as the team goes with the play of its leader. Arnold has a chance to be the next in a long live of excellent OU passers.
