The Path to Norman

Taylor Heim was an extremely versatile recruiting prospect, with the ability to play tight end, receiver, edge, or linebacker. Heim received his OU offer roughly a month after Coach Venables came to Norman. Within a week, Heim choose the Sooners over offers from Tulsa, North Texas, and La Tech.

Since arriving this summer, Heim has already been lauded as one of the team’s fastest players. Cheetah seems like his current landing spot, although he remains a versatile option. While a redshirt is likely in store for year one, Heim is an exciting prospect for the future.
