The Path to Norman
Damond Harmon was one of two players in the 2021 OU class hailing from Highland Springs (Virginia), the other being Kelvin Gilliam. Harmon started gaining traction with the Sooners in the spring of 2020, when he received his offer. The defensive back had an offer list that included Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas. Harmon announced his commitment in late summer.

Highlights
This Season
Harmon came to Norman with the kind of versatility that could see him play almost anywhere in the secondary. It’s hard to pin down where he’s most likely to appear, as he has worked in several spots over the offseason. In his second season on campus, Harmon will battle for consistent playing time in the secondary and work toward a bigger role in the future.
