The Path to Norman
Kendel Dolby started his college football journey in Oklahoma, but not at OU. Dolby went to NEO (Miami, OK) for two seasons; after the 2022 campaign, Dolby entered the portal. He received offers from Oklahoma State, Washington, Arkansas, and more, but chose the Sooners as his destination.

Highlights
This Season
The cornerback room was banged up this spring, with Gentry Williams, Jayden Rowe, and Kani Walker all missing time; Dolby got a lot of reps in at corner. Woodi Washington is set to start on one side, but the other is still a battle. Right now, Williams seems to have a slight edge. However, Dolby has played a good amount of football and has proven that he is a serious option at corner. It’s his first year at OU and in FBS football, but it already seems that Dolby will be one of the corners seeing the most playing time this fall.
