The Path to Norman
Drakeβs father was a long-time employee with the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Stoops worked as a visor model and media correspondent for almost twenty years, retiring in 2017. His son Drake decided to play ball where his dad had worked. The Norman North, Oklahoma product joined the Sooners as a preferred walk-on.

2019 Season
Stoops has put on some good weight in his redshirt season. The receiver group is incredibly deep for OU this season, so playing time is going to be tough to come by. However, the Sooner legacy is a player all fans are rooting for.
