This Season
The 2022 OU quarterback room gets a complete overhaul from 2021. Dillon Gabriel will be the starter, with three other newcomers (transfers Beville and General Booty along with freshman Nick Evers) behind him. Reports out of fall camp have indicated that Beville has locked in the QB2 spot, holding off both Booty and Evers. With three years of eligiblity in front of him, Beville is set to earn valuable minutes in a backup role this season and be prepared for a larger role in the future.
