According to a report from USA Today’s George Schroeder, Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight is planning to transfer to Texas A&M. Of course Knight, thru OU, announced he was exploring transfer options — while also specifying that staying in Norman was also a possibility — a couple weeks ago, so the only real news here is the destination.
And even it turning out to be the Aggies isn’t all that suspenseful considering it had been rumored for a while now and Knight’s previous connections to both the program and area.
On paper Knight looks to be a good fit for Kevin Sumlin’s offense, and he will certainly have no shortage of skill talent around him. Hopefully Knight will find the success next year in College Station that, for the most part, alluded him during his time in Norman.

Wish him the very best. He will always be a Sooner no matter where he goes. Thanks, Trevor.
What does our depth chart look like next year at QB? Who’s after Cody?
competition will tell
I mean, who’s on the roster to compete for QB3? I can’t even remember.
Mcguiness and, I forget the other kid.
Does Kendall come in this spring?
I think so
He’ll be in Norman…directly.
I think Kendall has already signed a grant and is enrolling this semester.

Trevor, best of luck in the land down under and thanks so much for that little Sugar Bowl thing you did. 🙂
Good luck. Peace.
Bittersweet. Big fan of Trevor the football player and even bigger fan of Trevor the man. Wish him the absolute best and thank him for his time at OU.
Best wishes in life, Trevor. The world needs more quality young men like you.
Trevor, thanks for all you have done for the program and how you represented the University of Oklahoma. Good luck in your future endeavors.
OK, this is funny.

Trevor, thanks for your valiant efforts at OU. No one can doubt your heart! You’ve been an exemplary classy young man, player, student, teammate, role model and representative of the University of Oklahoma. You join the others in the Sooner Nation Alumni. You will always be a Sooner.
Everyone wished and hoped that the Sugar Bowl was a preview of things to come. Wasn’t meant to be.
Your Faith will guide you to where you are supposed to be. There is a reason for all things.
A heartfelt thanks from myself and my family! BOOMER!
Congrats to Trevor for graduating and being able to continue his dream of playing football. Best of luck to him. I hope he has the type of season that lands a&m in the sec title game.
He is a class act! I wish health and happiness. I would love to see him playing against us in the CFP next year! Thanks, Trevor!
Good fit and system for Trevor’s skills. It’s where he originally committed before switching to us. He’s a class act. Kudos to Coach Stoops for giving him a full release.
See that’s how you do transfers properly! – sheesh

Source.
Trevor heading to class up the place at college station. Couldnt have asked for a better kid during his time here. Wish him the best.
QB situation is what then? Mayfield does or does not have one more year?
He has 2016, unless he is given back another.
Ay, que bueno.
Would be appropriate if Conner Knight got the remaining year of Trevor’s scholarship.
It would be but at this point that isn’t what is best for this team going forward. I do wonder how close Conner is to graduating and if he would want to go with Trevor?
Doesn’t appear so. Trevor said in his statement that he looks forward to coming back as often as he can to watch Conner play out his Senior year!

Congrats to Trevor on his career at OU and future at A&M hope he does well unless he happens to play against OU in a bowl game. From a distance it seemed like he was everything you want in a student athlete and a person what a great leader and role model for future generations.
Good luck to him. He should have a rhythm with Ford
I had so much respect for TK, especially this year, wish he was staying , but I wish him nothing but the best… he will always be a sooner in my mind.
Good luck TK! Enjoy your “aggie year,” but as a FELLOW OU GRADUATE, we are always Sooners.
Why do I see TK9 playing against us in a bowl game and giving us hell? (No thanks to BV!!!!)
I am proud of OU for giving him an outright release. It is the right thing to do. Though the NCAA rules should be changed where if you graduate you don’t need a release.
Good luck TK and thanks for beating Alabama. I will always remember that game.
Only best wishes for success for TK. He’s a Sooner for life and upgrades the Aggies immensely with his high character and values. This decision has to have been hard for him and I hope he has a great time his final year.
All the best Trevor! Big thanks for the sugar!!!

I wish Trevor nothing but the best. Good luck TK9! Thank you for all you did for OUr program. BOOMER SOONER!
Boomer Sooner Trevor. Good luck young man. and gross
TK slayed Bama and I’ll always love him for that. Wish him the best. But I think OU got the best of this trade.
