Is there anyone flying more under the radar than Ndulue? He has played really well, 3-4 DE fits his skills really well.

These guys have played at Stillwater, right?
In my experience, Tech fans are much worse than Okie State fans. They are right up there with LSU fans.
LSU fans….don’t even get me started.
Ditto on this. LSU fans can only aspire to be the dregs of all college football fans. Yes, theyre that bad.
Arguably the worst, most low-class fans in football. I know, I lived in Louisiana for a year.
Tech fans are douches, no doubt. But oSu fans are the biggest turds in the conference. They throw friggin’ turkey legs, snowballs, and whatever else they can get hold of. Their cheerleaders even tried to trip one of our players in the end zone last year. They cheer when OU players get hurt–not when the injured player gets up and walks off. And they are the most boorish, foul-mouthed of football fans in the Big 12. Texas used to be, now oSu holds that dubious distinction.
To quote a Big 12 football player from Big 12 Media Days regarding oSu fans: “When we went there a couple years ago, we had like a grandpa behind our bench holding his grandson while he was MFing us on the sidelines.”
But Tech fans are shitty to everyone. oSu has plenty of reasons to hate the sooners.
i saw only a couple minutes of the tech arky game but when it started to get ugly…it started to get ugly. the arky guys were celebrating td after td and you could see stuff being thrown down at em. there’s too many people who didn’t get punched in the mouth enough growing up, i suppose
A&M is pretty dang bad too. Lived in Houston over the summer and thought A&M fans were essentially the OSU fans of Texas.

TK was one and done?
They had to rush him off so Stoops could start on time (radio & tv obligations)
here comes Bob
Stoops gave a game ball to the entire defense
“If we were to pick a guy, maybe Julian Wilson.”
Keith Ford was the player of the game for the offense.
Stoops: Trickett has made a big difference in how WVU is playing. They run the ball well, they throw it well…we have to keep making improvement this week.
Stoops reaffirms Ford is out vs. WVU w/ a fracture in his fibula (non-weight bearing).
Stoops says he imagines Alex Ross will start Saturday
Ugh…
What!? Not Perine? Must be expecting to bust a few.
Stoops has never liked starting Freshmen. I’d say towards the end of the season, we’ll start seeing Perine behind Ford…..Hate that Ford’s hurt.
You’re right Billy. Except maybe Adrian Peterson but he was a pro playing college ball.
True, but early in the 2004 season, he started Kejuan.
Yup! I forgot about that. Duh!
Hope Knight has learned his lessons, because it looks like we’re going to need the passing game to be dead on this weekend.
No surprise but Stoops said either David Smith or Daniel Brooks will be elevated to No. 3 running back behind Ross and Perine.
Stoops: You need a bunch of RBs when you go through a long year.
Stoops on OU’s front seven: They’re playing great together as a unit & what’s great is there isn’t a weakness w/ anybody.
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/511562796102742016
Stoops on recruiting to a 3-4 D: You have a broader range of LBs and defensive linemen you look at.
Stoops on Durron Neal: Big upside, speed, strong, great hands. What you saw last week is what we hope to see every week.
Stoops on WVU offensive improvement: For sure a large part of it is Trickett, but I feel all their personnel is good. Dana will run ball when given the opportunity. They’ve got good balance.
Stoops: Matt Dimon’s elbow has a ‘loose body.’ Doubtful for West Virginia.
Other than he and Ford, Stoops says everyone is fine.
So Walker is good to go for WVU?
No, he’s still out. No new injuries is what he meant. Walker was going to be out 2-3 weeks, should hopefully be available for TCU after the bye week.
Derrick Woods?
Didn’t mention him specifically, nor was he asked about. So based on Bob’s statement, I assume he’ll be able to go vs. WVU.
I imagine Walker should be included as well.
Stoops on Striker: He’s really powerful and has great instincts, he’s got incredible quickness in his first step and great hands. Which is something (his hands) that probably isn’t talked about enough with his ability to keep people off him.
https://twitter.com/ryaber/status/511564604049092608
Stoops just compared Striker to TRRW (the real Roy Williams)

Until I see him go Superman, Williams is still the man.
What Bosworth was to his (and mine) generation, Roy was to his.
Excellent
Tramel must read this Board! he just asked Stoops my Roy Williams comparison to Striker question I asked on here yesterday!! and Bob agreed, good comparision! Roy and Striker are just disruptive!!
Haha
Stoops re: WVU fans/atmosphere: I thought it was a great atmosphere when we played there last. I didn’t notice anyone hollering anything different than what we normally hear.
Stoops on third-down conversions: We’ve got to make some improvement. That’s something we’ve talked about and continue to work on.
Stoops: The best teams I’ve had…they don’t count on some level of excitement to carry them thru a game.
Stoops on Jordan Evans: He’s a big athlete who runs really well, he’s tackling well and playing smart…he’s playing really well so far.
Stoops on Knight’s lack of running the ball: There’s a balance and I think it’s just more time on the field. We don’t want him getting hit as much as we can avoid it. He’ll find the right balance the more he does it.
So he’s being handcuffed like I thought. That’s what Bob is saying there which only highlights the stupidity of running the zone read when you publicly say “we don’t want him getting hit as much…..”. That just telegraphed to all future defenses to not worry about respecting Knight on the keeper, yet we’ll continue to run out of the zone read like morons.
1)Like against Tennessee, he will keep it occasionally and often gets a pretty big gain. You show the zone read action (even if you aren’t blocking it up as a read option and it is a called handoff) because it makes a defense respect the QB run. If they start crashing, then you run an actual zone read and gash them like we did against Tennessee on that touchdown. It’s like a pitcher who has the same our motion for a fastball and a change up.
2) It’s not like we were having tremendous success running zone stretch plays.
3) It’s about limiting the hits, especially in a game where you are in firm control and have a defense that is dominating. I’m sure if we get into a tight game, you will see Knight run a little more to open up the defense. By the second half, it was unnecessary to expose him to the hits because Tennessee was not coming back.
Stoops continued on Knight: I’d rather him there the next series and we’ll try it again.
What?
que?

Stoops said he was made aware of Joe Mixon being at last Thursday’s pep rally. “Even though that wasn’t a mandatory team event, it was poor judgement. He shouldn’t have been there.”
who brought that up?
I couldn’t hear the voice well enough to tell, but it kind of sounded like Hoover. But, again, I don’t know that for sure. If you watch the television version of this they typically show who asks the question.
Of course it was Hoover. Saw it on tv. He didn’t have his red nose, floppy shoes, and poodles with him but caption w name gave him away.
Blevins just asked Bob how his father disciplined him and his brothers when he was a kid.
Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up.
….there’s a 100% chance that blevins is irrelevant….
I concur!
Unbelievable. Was Bob’s response “Next Question”
You know he was just trying to get Bob to say something about his own discipline as a child so he could infer something about bob’s opinion on AD’s situation.
I hope Dean’s golf game is better than his media sports questions. What a knucklehead!
what are you looking for? him to say “oh man, he beat the tar out of us and that’s what i do to my kids too”?
Stoops: Getting the ball to Dimitri Flowers and Blake Bell (and those two positions) some more would greatly help us (in the passing game).
I thought the lack of Flowers was the biggest mistake we made offensively against Tennessee.
I’m still going with trying to run when they were stacking the box with 8 men as the biggest mistake. But Flowers should have been a receiving target. He’ll need to be vs WVU.
Stoops said Charles Walker is in a brace but getting better…no surgery…4-6 weeks after small tear.
So I guess I misspoke below. I thought he initially said 2-3 weeks. Maybe he did or maybe I’m remembering incorrectly, either way 4-6 appears to be the correct time frame. If I was wrong, my apologies.
…I think that was the initial time span guess and now it’s doubled
Okay, good. I don’t mind being wrong but that had me really questioning my memory.
You feel like you’re getting old? 😉
One day at a time
Just went back and double checked & the initial time frame from Bob was definitely 2-3 weeks.
And that’s a wrap w/ Bob
….nothing about phillips and his ‘tweaked’ back?
Who said anything about Phillips’ back? Is it becoming an issue again?
Another site is reporting that he supposedly tweaked it
Nope. I don’t think it’s an issue.
I saw him limp off, thought it was an ankle or something. He came back in and played.
Who mentioned his back? Did BS say something?
Being reported on another site
Maybe the through something out of whack dancing? 😉
Thanks for the posts. I’ll watch it tonight – like to see BS expressions at the questions.
LOL. A horns down from the guy in burnt orange pants!
Who is he?
No clue…anyone else know??
That’s Neville Gallimore
He’s a big boy but I wish he had firmer teets! 🙂
If we land all 5 I will frame this photo.
We lead for Gallimore and Smith…Overton is committed.
Something tells me we get DeBerry or KLS – not both…so some simple cropping would work just fine.
We have to wait til 2016 for smith but I like where we stand with him. As far as deberry and KLS you’re probably right but I do think ou is number one for both right now. We will have to watch how the rest of their visits play out.
Who are they left to right ?
Keisean Lucier-Smith, Marquise Overton, Rahshaun Smith (2016), Neville Gallimore, Ricky DeBerry
