The Path to Norman

Jackson Arnold is one of the highest-rated recruits to ever sign with the Sooners. A consensus five-star quarterback out of Texas, Arnold was courted by Coach Lebby at Ole Miss. On day one with the Sooners, Coach Lebby offered Arnold a spot with OU. A little over a month later, Arnold committed to Oklahoma over offers from Alabama, LSU, Penn State, and many more.

This Season

Arnold was hailed by many as the most talented quarterback in Norman the moment he set foot on campus. However, Dillon Gabriel is back for another season and set to be the starter. If all goes well for the Sooners, Gabriel starts and excels all year while Arnold redshirts but still gets in plenty of reps in cleanup duty. It may not be this year, but all signs point toward Arnold being an elite quarterback for OU.
