Career so Far
Pearson took a redshirt season in 2018, playing in the max four games. In 2019, he played in every game for the Baders and started in all but one. After sitting out in 2020, he transferred to Texas Tech.
At Tech, he played in almost every game over his two seasons, starting in 20 total. Pearson earned All-Big 12 honorable mention in 2021 and was top six in tackles for the Raiders in both seasons.

This Season
Reggie Pearson has played a lot of college ball; that experience is going to make him a huge asset to the Sooners. Pearson has worked at both safety and CHEETAH since arriving in Norman. At safety, he’ll be competing with guys like Key Lawrence and Peyton Bowen for a spot. It’s unclear if he’ll earn a starting nod at the beginning of the season. However, he’s too talented and too experienced to not be on the field. With the combination of experience and talent in the safety room, Pearson will look to help make this a position of strength for the Sooners.
