The Path to Norman
Jasiah Wagoner, a highly-ranked recruit out of Washington, held a massive offer sheet. After receiving his OU offer, Wagoner visited Norman, where the interest from both sides really picked up. In the summer of 2022, the Sooners picked up his commitment.

Highlights
This Season
This spring, the cornerback room had a lot of guys banged up, giving Wagoner plenty of chances to get reps. This fall, Woodi Washington will start at one spot while a group including Gentry Williams, Kendel Dolby, and Kani Walker will fight for the other spot. By all accounts, Wagoner has made a strong impression this offseason. He could see a redshirt season, but Wagoner is too talented to keep off the field long.
