The Sooners stay scorching hot on the recruiting trail as they pick up a big commitment from ’23 linebacker Lewis Carter (6’0 200) out of Tampa, FL!
Carter holds more than two dozen offers. He chose the Sooners over offers from Clemson, Auburn, Florida, USC, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Oregon among others.
He officially visited Norman back on June 10th and from that point on, OU became the team to beat.
Carter is a super twitchy kid who is incredibly strong as Super K pointed out HERE.
‘***Carter is extremely strong. You’re talking about a 17 year old kid who is benching 405 lbs which is nearly twice his body weight (209 lbs).’
He joins Phil Picciotti and Samuel Omosigho (who each committed earlier this summer) in the linebacker room and Kaleb Spencer is likely destined to join that room as well.
Carter is the 16th member of the CHO23N class and the 7th commitment in the month of July for Oklahoma. Rage on George…rage on!
