Caden Hendren played high school football in Piedmont, OK, around an hour north of Norman. Hendren played linebacker and wide receiver in high school, earning All-State honors during his senior season. In the spring of 2021, Hendren walked on with the Sooners.

This Season
The 2022 OU linebacker group will be under the leadership of Brent Venables and Ted Roof. Leaders at linebacker will include David Ugowegbu, DaShaun White, and Danny Stutsman. There are plenty of other talented options, including a loaded 2022 class, that will be vying for snaps as well. Hendren will provide depth in that group during his second year in Norman.
