So, who’s the bigger douche – Kliffy K or The 40-year old Gundy?
Gundy IMO. He’s got what 17 years or so of douchiness on Kliffy
Still, gotta go with Kliffy. Even with Gundy’s 17 years, Kliff has the xtra gene.
Is there a possibility they can tie for the title?
At this point briles maybe trying to grandfather in…
Kliff is young Gundy, only more polished… So you could be right
Has to be Gundy because he’s a Puke.
+1
Ding, Ding, Ding!
Hey, good to see ya, stranger!
I’m always trying to keep up, but my new job has taken most of my free time. It’s kinda starting to slow down now so hopefully I can comment more.
Excellent question! On the basis of at least six or seven minutes of profound cogitation, I’d have to go with Kliff. The reason is that Gumby is just flat a moron. He had no choice in the matter. He was born that way. Kliff, on the other hand, is a self made man. He had not only choices, but has taken positive steps to mould his public persona. Therefore, while the final product might be of similar degree, Kliffie adds that little extra in the mens rea department that wins him the title.
I don’t know jed we have a Gundy and he’s pretty awesome!.
You’re absolutely correct; but who can fully explain genetics? My sister is pretty while I have soldiered on with a face and body that John Belushi would not have traded for.
Every family shoots a blank now and then.
Lol
I’m with JJ here, although Kliff is trying hard to make it on top of that list.
IMO Kliffs douchiness + Gundys douchiness = Lane Kiffens douchines.
LAWL
Kliff is just such a pud. The way he struts around the sideline, you’d think he’d won 4 conference championships in a row and has won multiple BCS games. There aren’t many coaches you see strut around the way he does while losing 5 in a row.
Sorry, thought this was pretty good and had to share. Won’t do it again.

Ha Baylor is letting a little success get to their heads. We need to bring them back down to reality.
Usually I would be on Kingsbury’s side to some extent, but the fact is, Mayfield was not a scholarship player. The university didn’t give him anything yet they get to block him as if he owes them something beyond the 7 wins he handed them. It is a joke. I don’t want players jumping schools every week but coaches do…coaches can leave with pretty much no penalty besides having to buyout their contract which most of the time they don’t have to do because the new school does it for them. But I digress.
I don’t know the whole story of what went down in Lubbock. From what I have heard from people in Norman is that Mayfield isn’t some trouble maker or immature punk. Quite the opposite. So I don’t think he was causing issues. I think Tech wanted to try to say they wanted him to stay off scholarship another year. Because outside of Kingsbury’s word, I haven’t seen any evidence that he was offered a scholarship as they are claiming now.
So by that reasoning, if Baylor isn’t playing for a national title then they don’t give an S either???
That’s what I thought! So they didn’t care about UCF in their only BCS appearance!
I’ve seen a bit of a dustup over Jimbo Fisher’s comments that every conference needs to have a title game to be fair. Of course, Florida State didn’t exactly face a murderer’s row to get to the national championship game. Even though Baylor played an exceptionally weak OOC, they had a stronger overall schedule than FSU.
Maybe FSUs schedule wasn’t the toughest, but the fact remains they destroyed everybody they faced up to the National Championship. They beat the 4 ranked teams they faced by an average of 41 pts/game. To me there’s no doubt that top to bottom the Big 12 is better than the ACC, so Baylor having closer games, or even losing one as they did, makes more sense.
I’m not knocking Florida State’s worthiness for the title. Just annoyed that he’s calling out other conferences for supposedly having an easier shot at a playoff.
Gotcha. It’s typical of so many coaches to complain about what other teams are or aren’t doing. It’s a pathetic stance to take. I think I kind of see it in a same light as you are looking at it. A Big 12 team will typically face a tougher schedule than most any other conferences schools because the top 7-8 teams are all good enough to win any game and everybody is playing everybody. Whereas in these 12-16 team leagues, you see a lot of teams playing one or two of the other best teams and missing on 3 or 4 others. In the case of FSU, they usually only have to be concerned with Miami (sometimes, Clemson, Maryland, and a few others, because they won’t play everybody. So for each Clemson/Louisville they play, there’s a Wake Forest, Syracuse, BC or NC State to offset it. You don’t have that in the Big 12. Kansas traditionally is terrible, as is Iowa State usually. Other than that, you’re likely getting a tough team.
Come on now, Shawn Oakman. Act as if you’ve been there before. After all, Baylor’s decades-long legacy of CFB dominance is…oh, wait…
