100 Days to Football Time in Oklahoma: #51 Kasey Kelleher

The Path to Norman

Kelleher went to long-snapping camps across the United States; the Ohio native spent time training all over. Although he committed to Toledo for a short period of time, he couldn’t turn down the opportunity for a preferred walk-on spot with the Sooners.

Career so Far

Kasey took a redshirt season in 2017. 2018 saw Kelleher take over the starting long snapper spot after the departure of Wesley Horky, playing in all 14 games. In the spring of 2019, Kasey was put on scholarship for OU.

2019 saw Kelleher continue in his starting role at long snapper, playing in all 14 games as the snapper on punts and placekicks.

In 2020, Kasey once again started all season, extending his streak of games as the OU snapper to 39. He also earned Academic All-Big 12 honors.
