The Path to Norman
Brian Darby played high school football in College Station, home of the Aggies. His recruitment flew largely under the radar for some time, with offers from Arizona, Kansas State, and Utah. Then, following the Sooners satellite camp in Houston, OU extended an offer to the wide receiver.

Highlights
2020 Season
Receiver depth in 2020 is a bit scattered. Charleston Rambo and Theo Wease are proven leaders at the spot. Trejan Bridges (suspended) and Jadon Haselwood (injured) won’t be immediately available, but also fall into the leader group. Drake Stoops has experience as well.
After that, there are a lot of new faces. Transfers Theo Howard and Obi Obialo, along with freshmen Trevon West, Marvin Mims, and Darby, fill up a talented but inexperienced group. James’ latest depth chart projection has Darby providing depth behind several of these receivers. Darby may be able to use this season as a redshirt year while still utilizing his four games to gain experience on the way to a good career in Norman.
